CCG Director Appointed as Guest Professor at School of Management, Xi'an Jiaotong University

Recently (early August 2011), CCG Director attended the Guest Professor Appointment  Ceremony at School of Management, Xi'an Jiaotong University . Vice-Chancellor of Xi'an Jiaotong University, NPC Standing Committee member Professor Jiang Zhuangde presented him the appointment certificate.

During the ceremony, Wang Huiyao and Professor WangYingluo, one of the founders and path breakers of education and research of management engineering and the Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, recalled the time when Canadian government carried out the bilateral cooperation project of management education between the interschool of Canada and China.

Originally constructed in 1928 and reconstructed in December 1984, the School of Management, Xi’an Jiaotong University is one of the earliest management schools in China. Since 2002, the School has successively achieved the first place among management-related disciplines in universities of China. On the discipline list of competition issued by the Ministry of Education in 2006, Management Science and Engineering and Business Administration of the School of Management won the first place, and accredited by AACSB (the International Business School Elite League).

Meanwhile, Professor Steven Kelman from Kennedy School, Harvard University and Professor Wei Guoji, Dean of the Business School of Hong Kong City University, were appointed as guest professors as well.
